PARJE HISTORY
PARJE began in 2021 after the murder of George Floyd and the subsequent protests in Old Saybrook. Reverend David W. Good helped bring together a group of concerned citizens including Rev. Jack Madry, Nancy Gladwell, Maryam Elahi, Jac Lahav, Kimberly Monson, George Willauer, Shiela Hayes, and Eddie Long along with many others from the Lyme / Old Lyme communities. Together this group came up with the idea of fighting for racial justice through art, developing many public art projects.
